Children’s are more vulnerable to Abuse because children’s are powerless and its Effects are infinity deep and long lasting. Child maltreatment typically includes physical or emotional injury, physical or emotional neglect, or sexual acts inflicted upon a child by a care giver. Children are abused in different ways such as Physical abuse sexual abuse, emotional abuse, neglect and also some domestic violence. It may affect on their Health; Education and it may also lead to behavioral consequences throughout life. It is Important to educate the population on prevalence, characteristics of abuse and how to reduce maltreatment. The Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act, identifies a minimum set of acts or behaviorsthat characterize maltreatment. States may use these as foundations on which to establish state legislation.
