Abstract

Convalescent plasma therapy has been used as an empirical treatment during the outbreak of disease since 1800’s.currently, this therapy is used as a potential therapy in treating COVID-19, infectious disease that is caused by a new corona virus. The outbreak of this infection has been affected almost every country in the world and death has been reported in 188 countries. As the development of efficient and safe vaccination is under clinical trial, a quick alternative treatment is required to treat the clients infected with COVID-19.Hence passive immunization using convalescent plasma is insisted to treat the clients infected with viral infection in the early stage of disease.
