A Study to assess the challenges faced by health worker’s during covid-19 crisis in Government institute of medical sciences hospital (GIMS) of greater Noida Uttar Pradesh”. Objectives: To assess the various challenges faced by health worker’s during covid-19 crisis in GIMS hospital of Uttar Pradesh. To know the impact of challenges faced by health care providers with the selected demographic variables. Methodology: A descriptive approach was adopted for the study. Setting: the study was conducted at government institute of medical sciences, greater noida, Uttar Pradesh. Sample: In the present study, sample were health care workers who were working in covid positive areas at GIIMS hospital greater Noida. Sample size: for the present study sample size is 100 health care providers in GIMS hospital. Methods of data collection procedure: data were collected from the health care providers to assess the level of knowledge and attitude by using structured knowledge questionnaire. The collected data were tabulated and analyzed by descriptive and inferential statistics. Results: The study reveals that the mean knowledge of health care providers were 6.21 hence, it is to be interpreted that health care providers working in COVID departments were having moderate knowledge regarding COVID-19. The mean attitude of health care providers were 4.51. Hence, it is to be interpreted that most of health care providers were having unfavorable attitude regarding COVID-19. Conclusion: The current research was able to provide a broad evaluation of the COVID-19 knowledge and attitude among the health care providers in selected hospital of Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The results indicate that as the clients usually have a sufficient level of knowledge and have unfavorable lookout on overcoming the pandemic, advanced alertness and prevention ways are immediately needed. Considering the chances of a long-standing pandemic circumstances, constant strengthening of preventive strategies from the government health agencies is necessary to control the spread of COVID-19.
