Abstract

Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) is a healthiness problem that upsets one among ten women of childbearing age. Women with PCOS have a hormonal disparity and metabolic complications that may disturb their overall health and appearance. It is heartwarming the common age group between 18 and 44 years of age. The worldwide 10 million women are affected by this problem. In India, 30-36% of women are exaggerated with this issue. In the UK 1 in 5 women are affected with PCOS. This syndrome distresses women’s hormones, and this hormonal inequity causes a woman’s body to miss menstrual periods resulting in unwarranted hair growth and androgen hormone levels. This ailment also makes it harder for women to conceive. The deferment in diagnosis of PCOS can result in the development of comorbidities. So, being aware of the effects and indications of PCOS can help a woman get primary treatment and prevent auxiliary health complications, such as obesity, diabetes, heart problems, infertility etc.
