Abstract

Midwifes play an important role in pregnancy, childbirth and all services related to the mother’s health. They also play a role in the new field of forensic midwifery. We can observe that forensic midwifery studies are exclusively carried out by forensic obstetrics and forensic gynecology nursing. The midwife nurse is the one who initially interacts with the family members or next to kin, handles his or her equipment during the examination, and interacts with the laboratory specimens obtained one at a time. In the sphere of research, forensic midwifery can help with the evaluation of forensic application.
