Implementation of Internet of Things in an Indian Power System

Abstract

Electrical power demand has increased. To meet up demand the electrical network is extending and getting more complicated. To
maintain continuity of supply it is essential to monitor the power system regularly but with modern power system it becomes tedious task to monitor power system with old techniques. It requires some advance tools to monitor and solve problem arises in complex networks of modern power system. The internet of things (IoT) can provide solution to mitigate this issue. This paper discusses the application of the Internet of Things in power system.
