To ensure prompt and reliable responses, an intelligent controller is developed. The solar system is characterized using a radial-based function network, while wind energy systems employ the Elman neural network. The integration of a neural fuzzy controller enhances Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) performance. Comparative analysis reveals that the unit cost values for the PV-wind hybrid system are lower than those for standalone solar and wind systems, ensuring cost-effective maintenance. Moreover, the levelized energy cost for PV-wind hybrid systems, meeting all load demands, is consistently lower than that for individual solar PV or wind systems. The study leverages MATLAB and Simulink for comprehensive modeling and simulation. The amalgamation of these technologies presents a promising avenue for achieving sustainable and economical energy solutions.
2023-12-23T00:00:00+0530 Copyright (c) 2023 Journal of Advance Electrical Engineering and Devices http://matjournals.co.in/index.php/JAEED/article/view/4567 Effective Analysis of Power Cost Reduction by Controlling Reactive Power Using a Synchronous Generator 2023-12-04T16:23:34+0530 Ravindra Pratap Singh Chouhan ravindrachouhan5@gmail.com Preeti Tapal ravindrachouhan5@gmail.com
Maximum masses in modern electrical distribution systems are inductive. Examples consist of motors, transformers, gaseous tube light ballasts and induction furnaces. Inductive hundreds want a magnetic discipline to operate. Inductive masses require two sorts of contemporary: • operating power (kW) to perform the actual work of creating warmness, mild, motion, system output and so forth • Reactive power (kVAR) to preserve the magnetic area. Operating power consumes watts and may be examined on a wattmeter. it is measured in kilowatts (kW). Reactive strength doesn’t perform useful “paintings,” but circulates between the generator and the load. It locations a heavier drain on the energy source, in addition to on the energy source’s distribution gadget. Reactive electricity is measured in kilovolt-amperes-reactive (kVAR). Running energy and reactive electricity together make up obvious electricity and apparent electricity is measured in kilovolt-amperes (kVA).

According to the Indian Electricity Act, HT consumers should maintain a power factor of 0.90–0.99. Low power factor can lead to a penalty by the electricity board and if not maintained within three months can lead to disconnection of the electrical supply. There are many ways to correct power factors such as capacitor banks, Synchronous machines, and phase advancer FACTS devices. Operating the plant with low input cost is one of the top priorities for any manufacturing facility. Increasing specific energy costs can reduce profit margins. With the use of inductive load generation of reactive power is inevitable. This reactive power puts extra load on cables, transformers, and circuits. The case study below presents how the Chittor cement plant reduces reactive power and controls power factors by the synchronous generator.
2023-12-04T00:00:00+0530 Copyright (c) 2023 Journal of Advance Electrical Engineering and Devices http://matjournals.co.in/index.php/JAEED/article/view/4757 Study Significant Effects of Motors on Electric Vehicles 2024-01-08T09:16:34+0530 Arun Kumar Yadav dr.arunkumaryadavee@gmail.com
As a consequence of the desire for sustainable energy and the necessity to reduce carbon dioxide emissions through internal combustion engines, engineers and scientists are researching and developing innovative driving systems. Since only electric cars are used, they are completely clean. They must be deployed. As a result, the internal combustion engine used in traditional cars and autos is replaced by electric motors in these vehicles. In this essay, a comparison of various electric motors is made in terms of their affordability, robustness, and efficiency. The Brushless DC motor is the most effective and ideal choice for propulsion drive in electric vehicles and hybrid electric vehicles. Its control is insufficient, though. A vehicle that runs on electricity stored in the battery is known as an electric vehicle. It is propelled by an electric motor. This article compares the most common types of electric motors that have been in use over the years in terms of efficiency, power density, reliability, and size.
2024-01-04T00:00:00+0530 Copyright (c) 2023 Journal of Advance Electrical Engineering and Devices http://matjournals.co.in/index.php/JAEED/article/view/4623 A Review on Revolutionizing Urban Mobility: Converting Gasoline Motorcycles to Electric Bikes for Sustainable Energy Solutions 2023-12-13T10:00:30+0530 Kiran Kumar G. R. kirankumargr@pestrust.edu.in Neetha H M kirankumargr@pestrust.edu.in Kalpana S kirankumargr@pestrust.edu.in Shruthi S kirankumargr@pestrust.edu.in
In the current global scenario, the escalating energy demand is a cause for concern, prompting a shift towards renewable energy resources. There exist numerous avenues to conserve energy across various sectors. The primary emphasis of the proposed project is on vehicle transformation, specifically the conversion of conventional gasoline-powered motorcycles into electric bikes. This transformation involves replacing the internal combustion engine with electrical components. The integration of an electric motor, such as a BLDC motor, as a substitute for the traditional petrol engine, offers not only economic advantages but also contributes to pollution reduction. These electric bikes rely on the stored chemical energy in rechargeable battery packs for power, aligning with the broader objective of sustainable energy usage. Moreover, the initiative addresses the pressing need for eco-friendly transportation solutions, mitigating the environmental impact of conventional vehicles. By promoting the adoption of electric motorcycles, the project not only fosters energy efficiency but also aligns with global efforts to combat climate change. The conversion process is not only technically feasible but also economically viable, making it a practical and impactful approach towards a more sustainable and energy-efficient future. The proposed project stands as a testament to the crucial role that innovative solutions in the transportation sector can play in achieving broader environmental and energy conservation goals.
2023-12-13T00:00:00+0530 Copyright (c) 2023 Journal of Advance Electrical Engineering and Devices http://matjournals.co.in/index.php/JAEED/article/view/4332 A Review On The Use of Solar Energy For Car 2023-10-04T15:37:14+0530 Arun Kumar Yadav dr.arunkumaryadavee@gmail.com Anurag Dwivedi dr.arunkumaryadavee@gmail.com Muskan Yadav dr.arunkumaryadavee@gmail.com Sushil Kumar Agrawal dr.arunkumaryadavee@gmail.com Rachit Srivastava dr.arunkumaryadavee@gmail.com
Solar energy is used to generate power on a distributed basis and allows for quick capacity expansion with minimal lead times. Rural applications benefit from off-grid decentralised and low-temperature applications because they can fulfil other energy needs for power, heating, and cooling in both rural and urban regions.
