Abstract

The goal of this study is to compile knowledge on polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) from three different perspectives namely allopathic, unani and ayurveda investigations beginning with the development of PCOS in women of reproductive age.

Background: Polycystic ovarian syndrome, or PCOS, is a common endocrine disorder that affects 2.2 to 22.5% of women of reproductive age. PCOS is growing more common all across the world as time passes. This could have disastrous health repercussions because it is linked to various harmful comorbidities. As a result, management or therapy should begin as soon as feasible without causing unnecessary social stigma.
