The study sought to examine the effects of cash management on organisational performance, a focus of Nyamagana District Hospital. To meet this objective, the study operated on three specific objectives, including: (i) to examine the cash management strategies used by Nyamagana Hospital; (ii) to determine the effect of cash management strategies on hospital service delivery; and (iii) to establish the effect of service delivery on client satisfaction. Data were collected from the patients, accounting officers, and medical officers at Nyamagana District Hospital in Mwanza Region. The study used a mixed-methods approach guided by a survey research design. A total of 125 populations were employed to draw a sample size of 67 respondents using simple random and purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected using a questionnaire and an interview, and descriptive and thematic techniques were used to analyse the data. The findings show that Nyamagana District Hospital had many strategies for cash management, including the preparation of annual budgets, close monitoring of cash flow, and frequent projections. In addition, cash management had a positive effect on providing quality health services to clients. Also, findings indicated that facility cash management had a positive effect on clients' satisfaction. Henceforth, I find it fair to recommend that the government should effectively supervise the practice of cash management in all its health facilities. As well, it is recommended for the government of Tanzania improves the quality of health services and the environment in which the services are provided to attract more clients as sources of financial resources.
