Abstract

This study gives a quick introduction to the patient-monitoring smart robot for biomedical engineering applications. In light of current AI and ML techniques, this study provides a quick overview of the detection of pulse rate, body temperature, room temperature, etc. Smart robots are quite useful in the study of patient monitoring systems. Robots are machines that resemble humans and are capable of automatically mimicking specific human movements and tasks. A smart robot uses artificial intelligence (AI) that can grow on its capabilities depending on the knowledge it has gained from its environment and experience. In numerous study publications, methods for machine learning, deep learning, and CNN have all been applied for patient monitoring. These algorithms can swiftly and reliably forecast all monitoring applications when applied to images, and they can also categorize them. The work given here is a mini-project completed by electronics and communication engineering students in the second semester at Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering in Bangalore, Karnataka.
