A Virtual Laboratory for 555 Timer Circuit Investigation Approach

Abstract

The purpose of the article is to describe the various alternative sources uses to test and examine the performance of electronic circuits. Especially 555 timers circuit plays vital role for most of the applications. The objective is to investigate and understand the basic electronics project through virtual laboratory open source platform. Earlier only one source to investigate the experiment through hardware and license version of software such as Matlab, PSIM, MultiSim, etc particularly these software not easy to express the basic concept of the electronics project. In this articles described two open source virtual laboratory uses to investigate the performance of the timer circuits. The merits of the proposed system is no investment cost for the make the project as well as see the result as similar to the CRO.
