Advanced Converter for Industrial Application Using MPPT

Abstract

Changing weather condition is responsible for the solar radiation to vary. Because of this
condition, load is affected by large voltage variation. Here, in this paper, super-lift
converters are used to boost up the output voltage and also reduced the voltage ripples.
Super-lift converter boosts up the output voltage in the geometric progression. MPPT
(Perturbation and Observation algorithm) is used to focus on the high voltage sectors such as
cement manufacturing industries, Hybrid electrical vehicles, welding industries, etc. The
performance of this converter is studied here by using MATLAB software.
