Abstract

The most common factors promoting cancer included genetics and smoking. Genes play a major role in the development of breast cancer. The predisposal of genes with a history of breast cancer or mutations in the gene line all lead to breast cancer development.

The younger age group also shows some cases although, less in number when compared to the 50-60 age group.

According to the researchers, and survey journals there will be a 12% increase in breast cancer cases by 2025. The reason for this increase might be due to various reasons such as lifestyle changes in the coming years. People are more exposed to pollutants and radioactive substances which all together promote not just breast cancer but cancer in general.

The survey was conducted in hospitals where treatment for breast cancer was available. In this survey, the number of cancer cases reported along with the drugs generally prescribed to them was recorded. Data from about 426 patients were collected for analyzing the prevalence of breast cancer in the population.
