http://matjournals.co.in/index.php/JCPER/article/view/898

In Ayurveda, Bhagandara is mentioned as one among Ashtamaharoga because of its callous attitude. Acharya Sushruta recommends a multi-dimensional approach in the treatment which has been found very effective in the management of Bhagandara. Among these Ksharasutra has emerged as safe and non-recurrence therapy, accepted. Though effective, it causes pain and discomfort to the patient during the treatment period and needs longer duration. In contrary one can limit the Kshrasutra application avoiding long duration. In the case presented here was provoked by fate research, in which a 39 years male patient diagnosed as Bhagandara was subjected to Udumbara ksheer sutra application under local anesthesia. The changing of Ksheer sutra was repeated every week for 3 to 4 sittings. After the third sitting any mode of discharge was absent which indicated the absence of infection. For some reason, patient discontinued the treatment. He came after 2 years for some other complaints, on P/R examination no sign of fistula was observed. On history he revealed the applied thread got worn out by itself after 3 weeks of last application, subsequently the fistula got healed. This accidental finding provoked similar trials on 2 more patients, which proved to be successful. One of such cases is discussed.
Anup KumarSuman YadavAshutosh Kumar Yadav

http://matjournals.co.in/index.php/JCPER/article/view/789

Zika virus is a flavivirus that is an acute febrile disease accompanied by joint pain, rash, and conjunctivitis. After being reported sporadically over several years in Africa, three major outbreaks occurred in the Yap Islands (2007), French Polynesia (2013-2014) and South America (2015-16). Serological studies showed the presence of ZIKV in India in the 1950s, but cross reactivity could not be ruled out. India's first four confirmed cases of ZIKV were reported in 2017, with major cases reported in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh in 2018. Fortunately, the outbreak in India was not associated with neurological complications. This outbreak in India has highlighted the spread of the disease across geographic barriers due to increased globalization, increased travel and the ubiquitous presence of the arthropod Aedes mosquito. This review discusses the epidemiology, clinical features and treatment of ZIKV in India.
Vinay GaikwadRajendra KothalikarNanasaheb DevadkarPankaj KhuspeSwapnil Phade

http://matjournals.co.in/index.php/JCPER/article/view/1179

The phenomenon of violence in health, which has a global prevalence, is accepted as one of the important public health problems by the World Health Organization. The world Health Organization defines this phenomenon as “the situation where physical force or power is applied to another person in the form of an intentional threat or reality, causing or likely to cause injury, death or psychological harm to the exposed person”. Many studies conducted around the world show that violence against health care workers has reached advanced levels. Thereport titled “Physical and Verbal Violence against Healthcare Professionals” published by The Joint Commission in 2018 reveals remarkable figures. According to the related report, 75 percent of approximately 25 thousand workplace attacks each year occur in health care facilities. According to statistics, it has been stated that the rate of exposure to verbal violence among health care workers is higher. Studies on the rates of exposure to violence of health care workers have revealed that they are exposed to violence more than other workplaces, but they are recorded at a lower rate. Therefore, it can be said that the actual rates are higher than expected. Generally, 86% of patients and their relatives resort to violence in health care facilities, and 54% of them are relatives of patients who resort to violence; It has been found that almost all of those who resort to violence are men. Men are more likely to resort to physical violence than women.
Ozan Emre EyupogluMilenay TarhanZehra Ordek

2022-10-202022-10-201418A Study on Mental and Psychological Health of Teachers at Secondary Level Based on Gender
http://matjournals.co.in/index.php/JCPER/article/view/1177

In terms of psychological health, the respondent's internal experiences are taken into account. Psychological well-being is not assessed using an external frame of reference. It is true that many mental health criteria (such as maturity, autonomy realism) are determined by researchers from the outside. It is based on the perception of the individual that psychological well-being can be measured. Psychiatric well-being pertains primarily to the beliefs an individual holds about himself or herself. It is important to realize that psychological well-being entails more than just momentary moods, but long-term conditions as well. Researchers are interested in a person's mood over time instead of the moods that fluctuate with new events. Often, happiness in the present may not be correlated with psychological well-being in the long run. Thus, importance is in enduring feelings of well-being, not in fleeting emotions. Accordingly, the researcher studied the psychological well-being of secondary teachers using several aspects, including maturity, autonomy and realism.
Annu YadavRoma SinghRajani ChopraVibha Kaushik

http://matjournals.co.in/index.php/JCPER/article/view/1224

The most common factors promoting cancer included genetics and smoking. Genes play a major role in the development of breast cancer. The predisposal of genes with a history of breast cancer or mutations in the gene line all lead to breast cancer development.

The younger age group also shows some cases although, less in number when compared to the 50-60 age group.

According to the researchers, and survey journals there will be a 12% increase in breast cancer cases by 2025. The reason for this increase might be due to various reasons such as lifestyle changes in the coming years. People are more exposed to pollutants and radioactive substances which all together promote not just breast cancer but cancer in general.

The survey was conducted in hospitals where treatment for breast cancer was available. In this survey, the number of cancer cases reported along with the drugs generally prescribed to them was recorded. Data from about 426 patients were collected for analyzing the prevalence of breast cancer in the population.
Bushra FatimaHadia AnjumHajira YasmeenNeha FatimaAmtul RahmanA Krishna Sailaja
