Abstract

The RMNCH+A strategy formed in February 2013 by Government of India. It comprised of five components Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, child, and adolescent health. The aim is to give quality care and routine monitoring of health and appropriate interventions. And the goals of RMNCH+A is to reduce infant mortality rate, maternal mortality ratio, underfive mortality rate, neonatal mortality rate and total fertility rate. For effective implementation of schemes and programmes at gross root level the NRHM-National rural health mission introduces ASHA (Accredited Social health activist). Hear an overview of RMNCH+A strategy, approaches, indicators and Reproductive health, schemes, maternal indicators, maternal health schemes, new born health and schemes, child health, adolescent health and about ASHA and role of ASHA in RMNCH+A programme.
