Adolescence is a period which marks the beginning of a lot of physical growth and psychological changes. Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) is one of the common health problems in women of reproductive age and refers to a varied collection of physical and emotional symptoms related to women menstruation cycle. There are a lot of different symptoms which have been associated with PMS which include stress, anxiety, decreased in work productivity, insomnia, food cravings and many more. While, the exact causes for PMS are not clear, but it have an adverse impact on a women quality of life and productivity. However several research studies suggest that PMS symptoms can be alleviated through leading a healthy life style and making necessary changes in Dietary interventions.
