Abstract

Zika virus is mainly caused by a virus which is primarily transferred by the aedes mosquitoes, which mainly bites during the day time. The infections of the symptoms are usually mild which includes fever, rash, conjunctivitis, muscle, joint pain, malaise and headache. The symptoms of the disease mainly last for 2 to 7 days. Many of the patients with Zika virus infection usually do not develop any symptoms. The infection of Zika virus during the time of pregnancy is mainly associated children born with microcepaly and other congenital abnormalities this is known as congenital Zika syndrome.
