Abstract

In order to promote self-sufficiency and self-consumption in energy for applications working on renewable energy source, a module based on super capacitors is used as a storage unit for energy with quick response. Due to the sun's copious and accessible radiation, solar energy conversion technologies like photovoltaic modules and solar thermal power plants are widely used. The super capacitors are used in system working on the basis of conversion of solar system when there ishigh power demand or when electrical power needs a modification. The system is designed to combine a solar component with a 3.0 kWp capacity with a supercapacitor having a capacity of 500Faraday - 2.7V per module. The grid could not be utilized to charge the super capacitor; only the photovoltaic system could be used. Results from the simulations shows that a module based on super capacitors may be used to significantly increase energy self-consumption and self-sufficiency while supplying abrupt spikes in electrical demand. The goal of this study is to create a system for internally monitoring electrical phenomena in real time. This can be done by developing an electrical phenomenon system, constructing the electricity-based apparatus having an accurate voltage, current, solar radiation, and temperature information, and developing a system that can analyze the information and show the tracked data using a simple charting interface. To ensure correct operation and data monitoring, the model might be modified to service various kinds of photovoltaic systems.
