DSpace Based Overvoltage and under-voltage Protection

Abstract

This research work aims at developing a circuit that will protect our live circuit from overvoltage and over current. As in many electrical systems, there's always a chance of an overvoltage or over-current occurrence that may affect the load. So for protection, we have developed and tested a circuit using software called as dSpace. This circuit works as a relay and helps to trip the circuit if any over voltage or current occurs in the system. The protection circuit is constantly measuring and monitoring the supply voltage and feeding it to the dSpace circuit platform.
