Efficient Solar Power Management System Based on IoT

Abstract

The most alluring kind of clean, renewable power generation is the solar photovoltaic (PV) system. However, the performance varies because of different factors and external factors. To evaluate its performance, a remote and real-time monitoring system is required. It was suggested to use the Internet of Things (IoT) to monitor solar PV systems, and its effectiveness was researched. Data capture, data gateway, and smartphone application presentation make up the system. The data was accurately collected with a success rate of 98.49% and submitted to the data gateway. With a mean transmission time of 52.34 seconds, the data gateway was able to provide data visualization to the mobile application. The outcomes show that the suggested monitoring system is a potentially viable option for smart remote and in-person monitoring of a solar PV system.
