Study of Automatic Face Recognition System by Convolution Neural Network (CNN) Algorithm with Smart Meter

Abstract

Cyber security is the important concerns for the recent day’s information and communication technology. Many of the security algorithms have been developed even though the intruder can find the way to cause threat to our security system. In the proposed method, cyber security given to the smart meter data stored in the online database. Data can be accessed through the cloud environment. In the Automatic Face Recognition system, user or the smart grid distributor can view the data in the website through wireless internet connection from anywhere. Threat can be caused in the data transmission and also viewing of data in the website. The (AFR system mainly concentrates on the authentication of user who is viewing the data. If intruder can enter into the system via fake authentication, he can do any modification in the data. In order avoid that the system will automatically identify through the face recognition using combination of cascade object detector, Viola Jones algorithm for detection and face recognized by convolutional neural network (CNN). Implementation was done in PHP as front end and MySQL as back end. Performances have been shown under various circumstances.
