Solar and Wind Resource Assessment for Technoeconomic Feasibly Study in Bahir Dar, Ethiopia

Abstract

Now a day, solar and wind energy are getting more attention because of concerns related to depletion of resources global warming and minimizing CO2 emission. Solar and wind energy are main recourses. The paper discuses about assessment of solar and wind energy potential assessment for feasibility study of Bahir Dar, Ethiopia. The analysis was done using Homer software with generation economic and storage is considered during the design, modeling and technoeconomic analysis of the system.
