Abstract

This paper introduces a cutting-edge IoT solution, revolutionizing keychain management by integrating NodeMCU, a compact Wi-Fi-enabled microcontroller, and an intuitive webpage interface. The smart keychain offers real-time tracking and control, empowering users with the ability to remotely monitor the keychain's location, receive proximity alerts, and trigger actions such as ringing the keys through the dedicated webpage. This not only enhances convenience but also prioritizes security and peace of mind, presenting a practical and efficient solution aligned with modern lifestyles. The ESP-01 module within the keychain dynamically connects to pre-define Wi-Fi networks specified in the program, supporting multiple network configurations. If the keychain moves beyond the Wi-Fi range, the ESP-01 intelligently attempts a connection to available networks, ensuring adaptability. For instance, if keys are misplaced at a friend's house, activating the phone's hotspot prompts the ESP-01 to connect automatically, facilitating easy key retrieval. This dynamic and adaptive connectivity, coupled with the user-friendly interface, positions this smart keychain as an indispensable tool, seamlessly integrating IoT capabilities to elevate keychain management to new heights. In a world where connectivity is paramount, this innovative solution stands as a testament to the intersection of technology and practical utility in enhancing our daily lives.
