Hybrid Energy System Methodology and Optimization Strategies: A Review

It is feasible that the world is facing global energy crises and crises will increase owning to dependency upon fossil fuels (non-renewable) and increase global energy demand. This has led to an increased focus on alternate resources such as hydrogen fuel, biodiesel, solar energy, geothermal energy, tidal energy, and wind energy. They are profoundly present in nature, do not emit pollutants, and are sources of renewable and clean energy. Solar and wind energy have the potential to reduce dependency on the non-renewable source of energy. Now a day’s focus on hybrid energy systems has increased. This system is suitable in remote areas where installing grid infrastructure is difficult and expensive. This paper gives a brief description of the hybrid energy system, methodology, strategies, optimization, future trends, and limitations.
