Experimentally Study Thermal Comfort by Radiant Cooling System for Residential Buildings in Indian Tropical Climate
Keywords:
Cooling Load Heat Gain Air System, Radiant Cooling, Radiant Cooling Panel (RCP), Hydronic SystemAbstract
This study has been undertaken to inspect the
hydronic radiant cooling for commercial and
suburban buildings. Hydronic cooling refers to
any system where surrounding surface
temperatures are lowered to eliminate sensible
thermal loads from a conditioned space and its
give the thermal comfort to occupants. The
study contains physical experiments of a radiant
cooling system which the hydronic panels were
installed in a laboratory cabin of building. A fan
was also set in the room in order to remove
moisture from the room air by ventilation. In
the studyverify the heat extraction rate of the
hydronic panels and simulation was used to
model the system. Thermal comfort level in the
room was evaluated. The results shown the
hydronic cooling is to be used for
conditioningair to achieve human comfort for
buildings in tropical zone.
