Development of Prototype System for Drainage Cleaner

The well-known popular phrase cleanliness is
next to godliness. In present days, it is very
important to achieve cleanliness with growing
technology. Properly disposing of drainage
waste from industry and commercial is still a
difficult task. In this work, the suggested
concept is to replace manual work in drainage
cleaning with an automated system. The
intended of this work is to build up a portable
machine that will eliminate desecrate
resources such as leaves, plastic bottles,
polyethylene bags, etc. which usually disrupt
the flow of water in roadside drains. When
drainage pipes overflow, mosquitoes breed
and produce bad odors; this can cause serious
problems in our society, which in turn
becomes a cause of community health risks.
Therefore, our goal is to build a robot that
helps overcome this problem. This equipment
consists of a conveyor belt equipped along a
DC motor-driven chain with a fixed number
of claws for picking up waste. The claw
transfers the collected waste to a storage box
and moves it from there to the desired
location through the actuator.
