Abstract

One of the earliest basic machine tools is the hydraulic press. In its contemporary version, it is well adapted to press work ranging from jewellery minting to aircraft part forging. Basically, it is a machine that generates compression strength using a hydraulic cylinder. The components like cylinders, pillars, plates, and frame are designed using the design procedure in the study. The press was able to handle 7 tons of loads. They are examined in order to increase their performance and quality in the press operation. By optimizing the weight of the material used to construct the structure, and using the best potential resources in the design of hydraulic press components, expenses can be reduced. In this direction, an effort has been made to reduce the volume of material. The purpose of this research is to develop an industrial application for mass reduction in hydraulic presses with H frames.
