Abstract

A new trend in the logistics industry in India is the online logistic delivery (OLD) service. In addition to transportation, loading, and unloading, the new transport method also incorporates online logistic ordering. The evolution of urban customers may be to blame for the rise of online logistic delivery services. Studies that look at the elements that lead to OLD services among urbanites are relatively rare, despite the significance and changing consumer behaviour towards OLD services in India. Thus, the objective of this study is to create an integrated model that investigates the relationship between a number of antecedents (perceived ease of use, time saving orientation, convenience motivation, and privacy and security) and behavioural intention towards OLD services among Indian urban dwellers. The results showed that convenience motivation (CM), time saving orientation (TSO), and privacy and security (PS) all had a positive impact on the behavioural intention (BI) of OLD services. Researchers and OLD service providers can learn valuable lessons from the findings about what drives urban residents to use OLD services.
