Abstract

The development of an EV system for maximum output with cost optimization is the most trending requirement of the automobile industry. Regenerative braking was defined for recovering EV. Harvesting the energy of EVs is also an effective method to improve the ability of electric vehicles. So, we generated energy during the deceleration in EV after the battery input supply is disconnected. The motor will rotate due to its moment of inertia even though the input supply has been disconnected; therefore at this condition motor will act as a generator and generate the power. So we would like to use this generated electric power and store it in our battery. This system is called an energy harvesting technique in electrical vehicles. This gives about 20 to 30% efficiency.
