Abstract

The positioning and scaling for distributed generation (DG) at optimum levels are necessary for the competent, reasonably priced, and reliable functioning of electric power system networks. Best DG allocation is necessary for the proper operation of "electrical power system networks." Lowering active power losses and enhancing the overall voltage profile are the two main objectives for ensuring the safe operation of power system networks. Distribution network operators are accountable for meeting both the consumer's quantitative and qualitative power needs during such a demanding operation.  A JAYA Algorithm has been given out in this work for the best allocation of distributed generation. This uses type -1 distributed generation (DG), and the ideal losses in the IEEE-9 bus system for the JAYA algorithm are 2.9443 MW. To allocate DG in the most likely scenario, the JAYA algorithm is utilized using Matlab Toolbox and Mat-Power 6.0. The usage of JAYA for type-1 DG is more effective from the standpoint of improving voltage profile but less effective when there is a general loss of power in power system networks. Applying JAYA with type-1 DG improves voltage profiles more than other methods. Yet if there is a wide power loss in power system networks, it is less efficient.
