Engineering statistics is one of the important branches of mathematical statistical engineering with wide applications. It is the science of collecting, describing and interpreting data, in other words the toolbox under the experimental research. Engineering statistics is concerned with collecting, summarizing, representing and drawing conclusions from the available set of data, in an attempt to overcome problems such as data heterogeneity and divergence. All this makes it of wide application importance in various fields of sciences from physics to social sciences and even humanities, and plays a role in politics and business. Statistical
engineering data is a set of raw data and information that represents statistics, and related to the phenomenon being studied. The data are classified into two main categories i.e. Qualitative data, it is data that is not measured in numbers, such as marital status (rich, average, poor) and gender (male, female), which include ordinal data that can be arranged in ascending and descending order, and nominal data that cannot be arranged. Quantitative data, it is data that is measured through numbers such as: Number of employees, height, weight, and others.
