Covid-19 Prediction Using Machine Learning Algorithms

Abstract

The novel coronavirus (COVID-19), which originated in the year 2019, has spread quickly among the individuals living in different nations and spreading quickly throughout the globe with nearly 19.2 million as on July 2021, quoted by European Center for Disease Prevention and Control. Researchers from all over the world are working together to develop the vaccine which can prevent different variants of corona virus. The novel corona virus became a chronic because of its high pace of the disease spread and the critical number of fatalities. This virus is extremely contagious and spreads through human contact. There is a good progress in developing vaccines to combat the deadly virus however there were 4.1 million deaths across the globe. In this work, time series model and prophet models are used to focus mainly on forecasting of confirmed, death, and recovered cases and results were evaluated.
