Abstract

Presently, cloud computing seems to be the best option of every IT organization since it gives adaptable and pay-per-use services to its various clients. As it were, cloud computing improves efficiency and limits costs and thus, it is prone to numerous attacks. An important assignment in cloud computing is information security from hackers and intruders. Intrusion Detection System has been utilized comprehensively to recognize malignant practices in network communication and hosts. In this review, definition and explanation of Application-Based Intrusion Detection System (IDS) were given and Cloud Computing Security Models in Virtualization were discussed highlighting their different features. The conclusive outcome of this paper will be helpful to different Companies, Tertiary Institutions, Government Organizations and other Information Storage Centers that manage huge records to develop strong IDS capable of detecting and forestalling the attacks from hackers who are trying to find possible ways of stealing vital information of clients.
