Abstract

The need of Power is increasing day by day at a very high rate because of increase in demand and for the development of country by increasing industries. Electrical energy is must for any application in modern development. But the system should be efficient enough. Inductive load in the system shifts the efficiency of system as we know that time delay between voltage signal and current signal. Inductive are the major load in industries So we need to improve the time lag between voltage and current signal with a suitable method to improve efficiency. The project is designed to improve power factor which results in minimizing penalty for industrial units using automatic power factor correction unit.
