Abstract

Significant work is done in converting bio-waste into energy storage material as electrode of Supercapacitors. Supercapacitors can bring high power density and logical energy densities in contrast to batteries which carry energy as the consequence of chemical reactions. These batteries exhibit low power densities, Here we select Cassava, Sugar cane waste and coconut husk to obtain better yield of carbon and controllable distribution of porous material in academic research. Electrodes display specific capacitance in 0.5-3.0 Ag−1 range of with aqueous electrolyte of 6 M KOH. Values are observed to exhibit better results to many of the biomass-derived activates carbon materials. The effort describes a scheme which is commercial to recycle bio wastes into hierarchical porous carbon with better yield and for better performance energy storage application. This stragy propose a novel idea to utilize environment pollutants as energy storage devices.
