Abstract

The preservation of a clean environment and energy efficiency has received a lot of attention. Trash emits potentially dangerous compounds into the environment. The trash recycling method, which involved the shredding machine, had a significant impact on addressing the issue of waste as well as collecting the significant amount of energy that waste materials might offer to meet human needs. This article details the design and development work done on a machine for shredding plastic trash for recycling. In order to effectively recycle garbage, the shredder must be built. Its performance may also be improved with certain alterations. The improper handling of plastic waste disposal has made plastic pollution a global problem. Independent recycling initiatives are required instead. To transform plastic trash into usable goods, a plastic shredder machine is a necessary first step. The shredding machine that is now on the market has a design that is quite comparable to the concept. The shredder machine's performance is mostly dependent on its shaft and blades. It was discovered that the geometry and orientation of the blades that were installed into the single or double shafts had a significant impact on the shredding performance. To evaluate the different blade geometries and orientations that has a direct impact on shredding performance.
