Abstract

Energy is crucial for a nation's development and it must be maintained most effectively. Not only the technologies should be developed to produce energy in the most environment-friendly manner from Energy is the ultimate factor responsible for both industrial and agricultural development. The use of renewable energy technology to meet the energy demands has been steadily increasing for the past few years, however, the important drawbacks associated with renewable energy systems their inability to guarantee the reliability, and their essence is lean.
The import of petroleum products constitutes a major drain on our foreign exchange reserve. Renewable sources are considered to be the better option to meet these challenges. It is obvious that the known resources of fossil fuels in the world are fast depleting In the early 18th century, the value of renewable sources of energy was recognized. A major effort has been made over the past three decades to build, evaluate and implement a range of renewable energy technologies for use in various sectors.
Energy consumption has been growing rapidly in developing countries like India where about 15% of the world’s population lives. Energy plays an important role in the development of any nation. It is a very essential part of the growth & economy of the country. Our primary source of generating energy is coal, oil and natural gas.
