Abstract

Our solar system, an expansive celestial entity, extends over vast temporal scales and encompasses immense spatial dimensions. Situated within the confines of the Milky Way galaxy, our terrestrial abode is Earth. The human species, renowned for its prodigious capacity for innovation and invention, perpetually engages in the pursuit of discovery. Amidst this ceaseless exploration, a conspicuous and unvarying object of fascination emerges the solar system, whether observed from terrestrial vantage points or explored beyond our planetary confines. Within the solar system, a multitude of celestial bodies populate the cosmic tableau, each with its unique attributes and characteristics. Among these diverse entities, certain planets exhibit the potential to harbour and sustain life, a fundamental prerequisite of which is the presence of oxygen, denoted chemically as O2. On Earth, our fortuitous existence is sustained by an abundant supply of oxygen. In stark contrast, many other celestial bodies within the solar system boast either an absence or meagre quantities of this life-sustaining element.
