Abstract

Fractures are the discontinuity in the bone structure caused due to external pressure, accidents, and hits, and sometimes due to pathological causes. There are different types of fractures identified one among those types is Open fracture usually occurs due to accidents and cut wounds. This current case was studied on Open Type 3B Proximal Tibia Plateau Fracture with severe comminution with fracture of the head of Fibula of right side infected wound. This case study is a distinct report of the presenting illness and treatment conducted for the patient suffering from fracture and associated complications. A surgical procedure called wound debridement and closed reduction and external fixation was performed under spinal anesthesia.
