Abstract

Nearly 40% of the world's energy usage is consumed by buildings. Renewable energy sources can aid decarbonization by making Net Zero Energy Buildings a reality (NZEB). NZEB is achieved through efficient grid-connected load coordination in the building, which is tailored to a consumer's energy demand, consumption pattern, and available energy sources. An energy-efficient management strategy is required for an effective NZEB system. This research provides a revolutionary mathematical technique for residential building electrical energy management. The proposed approach achieves Net Zero Energy (NZE) in a residential building while providing optimum electrical energy comfort and minimizing electrical energy consumption.
