Pneumatic Sheet Metal Sharing Machine

The project's goal is to create a pneumatically
operated machine that can cut sheet metal
without the need for human effort. The
operating medium is compressed air. The
compressed air propels the machine's blades
as they cut the metal sheet. The manual steel
sheet sheering equipment at our college's
workshop served as inspiration for the idea.
When the lever is depressed, the upper blade
moves which cuts the workpiece after sheet
metal has been placed between the tools of
two sheering blades. The goal of this project is
to create a basic, easy-to-use cutting sheet
metal with a pneumatic device steady,
inexpensive, and sturdy. Pressurized air
forces the piston to reciprocate through the
tubes and into the cylinders; supply Linkage
powers the punch. The resulting workpiece
has the necessary dimensions and can be
gathered utilising the land clearance that is
included in the die. The die used in this is
fixed in such a way that the die of the desired
form can be utilised.
However, such a machine requires a great
deal of force, which could result in
catastrophic damage to a worker who uses it
consistently for large-scale mass production.
Hence, pneumatic machines should be chosen
to lessen human efforts. As a result, we chose
this topic for some development of machines
in our project. We anticipate that sound
concepts emerge and that we will be able to
apply it in a variety of situations. Industries in
the surrounding area, as well as our practical
knowledge, teamwork abilities, and
leadership skills will grow
