Abstract

The primary goal of this project is to determine how renewable energy may help in the creation of value, cost reduction, and increased profit. When it comes to techniques, available literature on renewable energy, and accrued benefits, the same have been covered in order to extract the most plausible facts and data on how renewable energy may contribute to creating value while lowering costs and overheads. So, an analysis is done on the economical and technological viability of solar panels in Institutional buildings, particularly in Rajasthan. Though the project work was carried out in an institutional establishment, the project work is applicable to both, industrial as well as home applications. This project work has been designed keeping the educational institution in reference. The three main load centers, namely the Primary Room, Secondary Room, and Administrative Block or Lab, have all been recognized as suitable locations for solar photovoltaic installation. A total solar PV system of 10 kWp is envisioned. Because the electricity generated would be supplied to the batteries for charging and will be used directly during the day, an off-grid system is proposed, making it more cost-effective and practical. For the purpose of determining the subsidy, the JNNSM benchmark prices for solar systems for the current year (2020-21) were used. Because NIMS University Jaipur is located in the state of Rajasthan, which is not a special category state, the benchmark cost may be accessible. The feasibility has been determined, and it has been determined that implementing solar would result in significant financial and environmental savings in the years to come.
