For the experimentation purpose paraffin is considered as a phase change material (PCM) and the Nano fluid is prepared by mixing of multiwall carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) with water. The experimental performance investigation is done by preparing number of samples of various MWCNTs mass fraction for finding heat capacity and thermal conductivity parameter. The experimental results demonstrate that MWCNTs mass fraction has outstanding augmentation in melting point temperature of paraffin and there is nonlinear increase in thermal conductivity. For those samples which containing MWCNTs volume fraction amount less than 2% their heat capacity decrement is observed experimentally. In this experimentation work how the thermal properties of MWCNTs sample changes with respect to the phase change material is studied.
