Abstract

Overall Objectives: To evaluate rural women's knowledge of cervical cancer risk factors in a designated rural area in Mysore. Methodology: The study was carried out in a rural location near Mysuru. We employed a descriptive survey design. By using a non-probability convenient sampling strategy, sixty rural women participated. To gauge rural women's understanding of cervical cancer risk and knowledge level, a structured knowledge questionnaire is also introduced. According to the study's findings, fifty rural women (83.4%) had average knowledge of cervical cancer, ten (16.6%) had good knowledge, and none had poor knowledge.
