Review on Performance Evaluation of Grid Connected Renewable Energy Systems for Power Generation

Abstract

Renewable energy resources from scholarly investigations has proved to be the safest and cleanest form of energy the world over but some countries are yet to tap into this most especially the developing nations. Nigeria as a country is blessed with abundance of renewable energy (solar, wind hydro etc.) yet the government has not fully recognised the relevance and benefits of this source to the economy. This works thus investigate critical reviewed journal papers on renewable energy sources with more emphasis on photovoltaic systems and their applications to power generation.
