Based on improvements, building information modelling (BIM) can assist with project administration in addition to geometric modeling of building performance. BIM is currently the most common for a new way of approaching the design, construction and maintenance of buildings. It has been defined as “a set of interacting policies, processes and technologies generating a methodology to manage the essential building design and project data in digital format throughout the building's life-cycle”. The benefits expected from the use of BIM are lower costs and a decreased risk of mistakes. The owner can use BIM to understand project demands, the design team can use it to analyze, plan, and develop the project, the contractor can use it to manage the project's construction, and the facility manager may use it to manage the project during its operation and construction stages. STAAD Pro is used to evaluate the research and design of a G+4 apartment development. Building information modelling (BIM) and life cycle assessment (LCA) are two technologies that might be utilised to create environmentally friendly constructions. Planning is done in AutoCAD, load calculations are done manually, and the structure is then analysed in STAAD Pro. STAAD. Pro is one of the leading software’s for the design of structures. STAAD. Pro is an analysis & design software package for structural engineering used in performing the analysis & design of wide variety of types of structures using Limit state design philosophy as per IS 456:2000. The dead load, imposed load, and wind load are calculated and applied to the structure. STAAD Pro is a prominent structural design software tool. In this project, we analysed the G+4 building to estimate shear pressures, bending moments, deflections, and reinforcing details for the structural components of the structure to develop an economical design. This is within the scope of the IS code. Following that, LCA was performed using one-click LCA software to determine how much carbon was emitted by the apartment complex.
