Foamed concrete is a flexible lightweight concrete that is adopted in different construction areas. The stability of foam concrete is one of its major concerning parameters. In a fresh state in foam concrete either during production or during and just after placement, air voids tend to become unstable. In this view, the stability of foam concrete is experimentally investigated. Foam percentage from 20 to 90% is considered in this study. The workability and its influence on the stability due to the incorporation of varying plasticizing admixtures are also investigated. It was found that foam concrete mixtures with foam percentages above 65% became unstable after casting. By adopting plasticizer in the foam concrete mixtures, there was a significant improvement in the stability, and further stability was achieved even at higher foam percentages.
