This paper includes the mix design of M-30 grade concrete with specified characteristic compressive strength of 30 N/mm2 for the road application as per IRC guidelines (referring IRC 44-2017 code). As per IRC-44-2017, minimum grade of concrete is M30 for rural roads. So to begin with, a lower grade M30 mix design was preferred. The fine aggregate has been replaced by foundry sand in the range of 0%, 10%, 20%, 30% and 40% by weight of sand. The coarse aggregate has been replaced by demolition waste accordingly in the range 0%, 10%, 20%, 30% and 40% by weight of coarse aggregate. For every trial mix of cube size 15 x 15 x 15cm cast with 3 sets and compressive strength of every cube consisting of 7, 14 and 28 days of curing. The optimum percentage of foundry sand and C and D waste is to be determined by result analysis.
