Abstract

By altering a building's capacity, function, and performance, adaptive reuse can give a heritage a new use. Heritage conservation is a niche type of work. To fulfill all activities as per conservation guidelines there is a need for a special stakeholder who does such kind of work. During and before the adaptive reuse of any heritage property they face a number of challenges. In this paper, the author found out major challenges that occurred before and during the adaptive reuse of the case study by visiting the site and taking an interview with respective stakeholders. This paper will guide respective stakeholders or management purposes before they start conservation work of heritage property.
