The degree of automation (reducing the need for human labor) increases in practically every field as technology advances. In every area of life—from homes to industries, from traffic control to environmental monitoring—Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) are gaining ground. The air pollution monitoring system has sensors to track the relevant environmental pollutant parameter. We created a simulation of the three gases that determine the level of air pollution: carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, and sulfur dioxide.
Air pollution is rising alarmingly quickly in countries like India. Burning crop residue, car emissions, open industry defecation of smoke into the atmosphere, and open waste burning are the main causes of rising pollution levels. The present concentration of dangerous gases in the atmosphere is determined using an Internet of Things (IoT)-based pollution system. The quality of the air has the greatest impact on our daily lives because everyone needs clean air to survive. We will be able to access the data from any site where the device is situated thanks to the IoT-based pollution system. The smartphone app makes all of the data available. The Blynk application was utilized in this project. We can employ many pollution detectors at various sites utilizing the IoT concept, and we can download the data to a smartphone app.
